Relaxation Time
Taking time out to relax and focus on self-care is even more important at this time when we can’t see family and friends in the way in which we usually can. This leaves more time for ourselves and we should use this time in order to wind down and make the most of this opportunity.
I have recently rekindled my love of bath time and I am enjoying taking time to enjoy long baths in order to soothe my muscles and look after my skin. I have eczema which means my skin is often irritated and needs some extra TLC. I have been using Epsom salts and a nourishing bath bomb in order to do this. I have also created a calming environment at bath time in order to allow my mind to shut off and improve my sleep quality.

I have recently bought some Ny-Haara bath bombs which I have been loving. Ny-Haara is a relatively new brand having only "gone live" in September 2019. The aim of the company is to allow its consumers "to treat themselves to a lovely moment" which I certainly experienced when using their bath bombs.
The bath bombs I purchased included the Pure Vanilla, Sea Salt Exfoliator, Tropical Strawberry, Choc-Orange, Berry Bliss and Euca-Citrus bath bombs. I chose this selection as they all included coconut oil or shea butter within the ingredients and have since left my skin feeling soft and revived. The scents were subtle and calming which were perfect for use with my skin as they weren't overpowering like some products. They are packaged in beautiful magnetic clasped boxes when ordered in multiples of 4 or 6 and I will certainly be reusing them.
I think exercise is especially important during this time and I have made sure to go for a walk or run everyday whilst in lockdown. The air has helped to allow me to clear my head and take my mind of the days chores. My Fitbit tracker has shown me how my resting heart-rate has also dramatically improved due to the exercise which is helping my mindset whilst on my fitness journey.
Cleaning and organising my room and other areas of the house have also given me time to de-stress and feel a sense of achievement in these uncertain times where a set routine isn't in place like usual. Focusing on one area and seeing the difference you can make can help to put you at ease and help to keep spirits high.
My advice to anybody would be to spend that extra time to focus on yourself, whether that be pampering, exercise, cleaning or any other way in which you can. There shouldn't be pressure for you to do any of these things but it should be done at your own leisure. If anyone has any further advice or tips on relaxation or would like to know more about each individual bath bomb please feel free to comment or let me know.
Take care,
Emma :)
